Just like it is important to work hard at progressing your career, it is equally important to maintain your appearance.  Invest in a MUA to learn new techniques on how to apply make-up that works for your lifestyle, or visit a make-up counter to find out what products best suit your needs.

    Jean Proof

Go buy a new pair of jeans to give you a new attitude so you can feel good from your head to your toes!  Everyone owns a pair of jeans, the question is do you own the right pair???  A fabulous pair of jeans should elongate your legs, accentuate your curves, and show off your derrière.

    Fall Coats

Select a  COAT that makes a statement for the Fall. Choose a color or print that expresses your style or personality, the bolder or brighter the better. It is important to bring some sunshine to those dreary and cold days.

    Fall Boots

Find a  BOOT  that is FASHIONABLE YET FUNCTIONAL. It may be time consuming and require you to go to multiple stores or to surf the internet but do not give up. It is important to still look fabulous while walking through the snow and on ice.

    Fall Gloves

Do not forget about your GLOVES. They add a touch of sophistication that makes one take notice. Like what a pocket square does for a man’s suit. All men do not wear them but those who do, we all know who they are!

    Fall Hats

Purchase the perfect HAT to rock with your statement coat. Try a fedora or wide brim floppy hat, you know you have selected the right one when you walk with a little more sass!

So ladies here are your tips to make sure you Fall in Love with Fashion. Can’t wait to see pictures of your Fall finds!

    Shoe Trends 2013

    1. Wing Tip Oxfords – Preppy with an all-American classic appeal.

    2. Platform Multi-Color Sandals – Makes a statement…feminine, fun, and super sexy.

    3. Gladiator Flat Sandals – A twist on the basic gladiator sandal, versatile due to the color and defines bohemian chic.

    4. Strappy High Heel Sandals – Very sexy and multi-faceted, can be worn to work or for an evening out on the town…comfortable yet fashionable.

    5. Open Toe Multi-Color Flats – Multi-color shoes are a great guide to help select color combinations for an outfit, or to bring life to a neutral ensemble.

Navy is a great substitute for black.  I took this navy blue suit and added a printed shell underneath in chocolate brown and rust for visual interest, along with an animal print belt to define the waist.  I chose the shell and belt in the same color family so the prints compliment one another instead of compete, which is important for you to look” pulled together” rather than “thrown together”.  Pointy toe pumps in navy below for simplicity due to my prints up top and a chocolate brown eel skin bag to add texture.  Business professional attire does not have to be boring and plain.  Color, prints, and texture add personal style and flair to your wardrobe.  The next time you get dressed I challenge you to add visual interest through an accessory piece (belt, shoes, handbag, hosiery, or jewelry).  Happy shopping ladies!

Just because summer is over doesn’t mean you have to tuck your favorite pieces away. Layering is a great way to transition your summer pieces into your fall wardrobe.

A few weeks ago, I officially debuted MONIQUE E4S, a bold ready-to-wear women’s collection that embodies the essence of today’s multicultural, multidimensional woman; SEXY, CONFIDENT, and SECURE. The debut collection features vivid graphics in regal fabrics and colors that will excite the senses through silhouettes that represent spring in all of it’s glory.  Take a look at some of the photos from the “The LOOK Houston 2012″ FASHION FOR A CAUSE event.

Leggings and tights are another avenue to add style to personalize your ensemble.  Pair a sleek pencil skirt with a chevron pattern tight to wear to work.  Wear a mini skirt with a floral print legging on the weekends.  Try a bold color tight with a printed dress for an evening out.  This Fall be bold be bright!
