    1) Choose a color and go with a monochromatic scheme, various shades of one color,  instead of trying to have every family member wear the same color, which can be very difficult to do.
    2) Choose a analogous scheme, 3 consecutive colors on the color wheel in different tints or shades to create more interest.
    3) Choose a complimentary scheme, direct opposites on the color wheel, this is the safe way to choose the perfect color combination.

    1) Do not wear work out clothes.  You are not going to the gym.
    2) Do not wear pajamas.  Pajamas are designed to wear when you go to bed.
    3) Do not wear tattered and torn clothes or shoes due to wear and tear.  REMEMBER, you never know who you may run in to or meet at the airport.
    1) Do have a layering piece you can easily take on or off due to temperature changes.
    2) Do wear comfortable shoes that can endure walks to gates, baggage claim, and/or parking garage.
    3) Do wear comfortable clothes, you can easily take on and off, sit down in for long periods of time, and to reach and bend in without giving others a peep show.

    Color Block

“Spring it On!” this season with vibrant colored botanicals, graphic prints, and color blocking.
    1) Keep in mind your stature when choosing a garment with a print. You want to wear the print, not the print wear you.
    2) Try wearing color or a print, especially if you do not have any or very little in your existing wardrobe. Add some sunshine to your life! It will make you grow!
    3) What you wear is a representation of how you feel about yourself and what you want the world to know about you. What do your clothes say about you? This season spread some color and brighten up the world…….your world!

This season, don’t be afraid to try navy blue, hunter green, plum, or burnt orange in place of black. This burnt orange lace bow tie blouse, plum sweater, navy blue slacks, leopard print platform pumps, and burgundy and taupe tote bag work well together without the popular “absence of color”, aka black.

With fall underway, and as much as we liked peeling off layers of clothing this summer, we look forward to putting it on again as the weather cools down……overcoats, sweaters, boots, tights, and etc.! Layers add flair to your ensemble. This week’s fall feature is all about color. Look to color to keep your spirits up in tackling those cold rigid days!
